data.entry.eventDescription = Paris Photo is the largest international art fair dedicated to the photographic medium and is held each November at the historic Grand Palais in Paris. Paris Photo brings together up to 200 exhibitors from across the world, offering collectors and enthusiasts the most diverse and qualitative presentation of photography-driven projects today. This years key highlights include the Paths Elles X Paris Photo which champions photography by and for women and Estee Lauder presents the Pink Ribbon Photo Award. Also new for 2018, Paris Photo inaugurates the Curiosa sector, curated this year by independent curator and writer Martha Kirszenbaum (recently named curator of the French Pavilion at the 2019 Venice Biennale). For this first edition a selection of erotic images will be unveiled, challenging our gaze on the fetishicized body, and tackling relations of power, domination and gender issues. The 22nd edition of Paris Photo will take place Thursday, November 8 through Sunday, November 11.
